Do you like live music? Do you like seasonal tasting dinners with produce sourced from local farms? Do you like amazing local ciders and sour beers? Do you like CHEESE????  And lots of it? How do we feel about pickles?


Well if any of those things have tickled your curiosity, please join us on Tuesday August 21st for a very special pop-up dinner starring the one and only SUE MILLER of  Birchrun Hills Farm. Spend a relaxing late summer evening out on the patio at Martha as we attempt to bring the very best parts of local farm life right here to you in Kensington.  We will be celebrating the opening of Birchrun Hill's brand new creamery and aging cave, and discussing some of the various joys and challenges of working the land in our region.

Run by Cheesemonger Matt Buddah and PJ of Brine Street Picklery. It will feature delicious cheese, vegetables, fruit and pasture raised meats from Birchrun Hills, Three Springs Farm and Blooming Glen. Shop for things to take home and / or enjoy special snacks and cheese plates inside Martha .

Liberty Kitchen is a collaborative Deli, Commissary and Pop-Up Space coming this Winter to Fishtown by Matt Buddah & Brine Street Picklery. LK is built around Philadelphia's vibrant community of local food makers and eaters, providing local food and beverage companies with a canvas to showcase their goods in our Deli & Pop-up Kitchen. The Deli will feature local and sustainably sourced products from the Philly Metro area including cheese, charcuterie, and freshly made sandwiches, salads and prepared foods by the pound. The LK Commissary is home to 5 local companies that will be making their products on-site and selling them upstairs (think kombucha, pickles, beef jerky, pasta). Keep an eye out for our rotating schedule of pop-up events featuring LK member companies along with local chefs, breweries and distilleries starting in Winter '19.
