Description
A historic piece of Georgian architecture, Carpenters' Hall hosted the First Continental Congress in 1774 and has been the home of Franklin's Library Company, The American Philosophical Society, and the First and Second Banks of the United States. Today, it serves as an event venue conveniently located in downtown Philadelphia’s Old City neighborhood. Carpenters' Hall is available for rental only after 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
